Chris Hiatt Experience
Though Stevie Ray Vaughan IS one of Chris Hiatt's main musical influences, one also hears the influences of Jimi Hendrix, Mark Knopfler (of Dire Straits), Johnny Marr (of the Smiths), the Beatles, Peter Buck (of R.E.M.), and scores of other guitarists whose records lurk in the back of Hiatt's collection. Chris Hiatt's own music, is best described by a Portland, Oregon critic as 'Blues-based-British-influenced-Pop'.

SPECIAL EVENT at The Bank!
Thursday, February 4th
Bob Wayne & The Outlaw Carnies
Jason Okeefe and Goodtime Productions return to bring you a Bangup, Rough & Tumblin Review from the other side of the tracks. Jason has his finger on the pulse of the underground music scene and is presenting for your approval three of his favorite acts. "Come out and support Live Music or sit on your sofa and eat ho-hos-- just don't whine to me that there's nothing to do around here," Jason says.

Wednesday, February 10th
Rev. Billy Wertz
Billy returns to his favorite church-- the Bank-- to preach to his favorite congregation-- the DBS. From the moment he sits down at the piano and lights into his Southern old-time gospel and blues with a twist, the six-foot-five-inch, goateed, tattooed tongue-in-cheek "Rev" commands the stage and spreads the "gospel" like nobody's business. With puns flying as fast as his fingers, the Rev plays masterly boogie-woogie and barrelhouse riffs while holding forth on subjects as diverse as W.W.E.D.? (What Would Elvis Do?), Mennonite Surf Parties, and dubious relationships between people you are terrified that you may actually know.

Wednesday, February 17th

Vic and the band have covered many a mile since the early days of the "DBS Blues Jam". It was there that those relationships were formed and the DEEP BLUES SEEDS were planted. Now those seeds have taken "root" with a world class band, a new CD and hit singles climbing the national blues charts. Vic and the boys now return to pay homage to the nationally acclaimed blues jam that started it all.
